Problem Note 31308: PROC SGSCATTER generates an incorrect graph if data set is not sorted by the GROUP= variable
The SGSCATTER procedure will generate an incorrect graph when creating a fit plot with a group variable if the input data set is not sorted by the group variable. No errors or warnings are written to the SAS Log to indicate that there is a problem. The graphs that are generated will contain nonlinear regression lines.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
